St Mary's Swimming Team excelled at the Borough Swimming Gala. The Squadron Relay team came 3rd in the Large Schools final, and many of our swimmers are through to the imminent finals.
Welcome to St Mary's CE School
Our aim is to provide an academically stimulating but caring environment where every child feels valued and is encouraged to achieve his or her full potential. St Mary's is a church school which, we believe, helps give us our distinctive character. Christian values and beliefs form the basis of our school ethos and are reflected in our teaching and in the daily life of the school.
Year 2 visited The Look Out Discovery Centre to enhance their science studies: the body and light and colour and sound. The children enjoyed a science workshop on toys and how they are controlled (eg by electricity, clockwork and magnetic).
