Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the St Margaret's Fair. Volunteers were involved in various activities including:

Programme delivery 5500 programmes were delivered to homes in the local area and despite the printing being late, most were delivered by Sunday 3rd July a great effort by all involved.

Strawberry Stall we sold 450 portions of strawberries and cream and made over £400. Many thanks to those who cut up 120 punnets of strawberries and to those who walked around the fair with trays selling directly to the fair goers wherever they were! Thanks also to Faye McCullum who designed the stall, making it look fresh and inviting.

Litter picking even in the incredible heat of the day, we had a fantastic team of volunteers who kept the park clean. On Sunday morning a further amazing team braved the drizzle and leftover debris from the party the night before. After an hour the park was in an even better state than it was before the fair.

I hope all the St Mary’s Fairgoers enjoyed the day. It looks like there were record takings in the other parts of the fair, meaning St Mary’s should be getting a lovely donation from the committee of the St Margaret's Fair. I will keep you informed.
